Today, decorative chalkboards are used in interior design quite often. Chalkboard wall decals are different from standard chalk boards or blackboards we used to have. They are multi-functional now. You can write on such boards, erase what you have written, put up stickers or stencil art or decorate them with other features and fixtures. Kitchen: The first place I would buy this type of board for would be my kitchen. It would be so handy to keep notes there. They come in different sizes and shapes. Most used is a square or rectangle size however there are very charming framed chalk boards out there (some of them even come with a chalk trays).

Advice: If you want personalised framed ~~~, buy frame of your choice and use ~~~ wallpaper instead.

Kids area: Kids can learn ABCs, doodle and make notes. Stickers are removable and repositionable. Different sizes and colors available.
